Here is a very rare and excellent collector's bass. This one is a U.S. handbuilt Steinberger L1 4 string model that was built in 1981 (serial number: 0012). The bass features a molded one piece neck and body that is carbon-graphite composite material. The bass was customized with a second pickup and controls. The pickups are the active EMG "humbucking" type and they help to give the bass it's unmistakable clear and punchy tone with more midrange attack.
